In 2014, David Held two titles with the short feature film RIPPLE, where he was an executive producer, and director of photography.

RIPPLE was selected for CANNES 2014 short film showcase in a non competition category and was awarded best short film at Pasadena Film Festival in 2015. Another short film he shot, Strangers In A Book, won best cinematography at San Diego’s FANtastic Film Fest.
